SUMMARY
Plant: Small, 5 cm high terrestrial saprophyte.
Tuber: not seen.
Stem: 12 - 15 mm long, only with leafy scales, the latter ovate-lanceolate, acuminate.

Pedicel: none.
Bract: lanceolate, longer than the ovary, acuminate.
Ovary: cylindric, 5 mm long, glabrous.
Flower: reddish hued, on inside light purplish red, lip with a large white spot on inside.
Median sepal: from a ligulate base obovate-spathulate widened, hooded. 23 mm long, apiculate, midrib dorsally crested.
Lateral sepals: linear, 45 mm long, glabrous.
Lateral petals: linear, 45 mm long, glabrous.
Lip: from a short tubular base abruptly curved and spreading into a reniform-orbicular limb, margin serrate-ciliate.
