Leaves: dark green with red, raised nerves, cordate, 29 by 24 mm, acuminate, base cordate.

Bract: subulate, 10 mm long.
Ovary: ellipsoid-obovoid, 4 mm long, 6-grooved.
Flower: red.
Median sepal: spathulate, strongly hooded and incurved, 15 by 11 mm when spread out, basal part 5 by 5 mm, limb semi-globose-concave and covering the lip, apiculate, margin entire.
Lateral sepals: subulate, 2.5 mm long.
Lateral petals: similar to lateral sepals but 5 mm long.
Lip: from a short tubular, basal 3 - 5 mm long part, abruptly curving downward and spreading into a 3- lobed, suborbicular limb, 20 by 20 mm large, the lateral lobes widely spreading along their posterior margin but involute along inner margin and forming the third lobe, the latter 1.5 by 4 mm large, its margin erose, apiculate, entire lip 3-nerved at base, up to 15-nerved along margin, glabrous.
