SUMMARY
Plant: Small, 2 - 3 cm high terrestrial.

Leaves: light green with pinkish red veins; broadly ovate, 20-30 by 10-22 mm, acuminate, base deeply cordate, glabrous, 20 - 30 by 13 - 22 mm, acuminate, base deeply cordate, glabrous.
Pedicel: not known
Bract: lanceolate-subulate, longer than ovary.
Ovary: cylindric, 3 mm long, glabrous.
Flower: dark purple, lip in throat with a large pinkish red spot, and with a pinkish red spot on either side near margin.
Median sepal: about 20 mm long, from a ligulate base widening into a hooded, elliptic-spathulate hood, apiculate, the 5 main nerves on hood thickened.
Lateral sepals: linear-filiform, 23 mm long, glabrous.
Lateral petals: similar to lateral sepals, 25 mm long.
Lip: from a short tubular, basal part abruptly curved downward and widened into a broadly heartshaped limb, margin coarsely serrate mainly in apical part, in throat with a large, pink convex patch
Spurs: spreading, conoid, subacute.
Capsule: not seen.
