SUMMARY
Plant: Small, 2.5 - 3.5 cm high epiphyte.
Leaves: broadly ovate, 25 - 40 by 20 - 30 mm, shortly acuminate or apiculate, base cordate.
Bract: lanceolate, about twice as along as ovary, subulate in apical part, glabrous.
Ovary: cylindric, 4 mm long, 6-grooved.
Flower: whitish but median sepal pinkish red punctate, lip on outside dark carmine striped, with red spots on inside.
Median sepal: from a linear, boatshaped, basal part slightly curved into a suborbicular- spathulate hood, apiculate, warty on outside at tip of hood only, 17 mm long.
Lateral sepals: linear, 3 mm long, glabrous.
Lateral petals: linear, 3 mm long, glabrous.
Labellum: from an erect, tubular, basal, ventrally inflated part, abruptly curved downward and slightly spreading into a suborbicular limb, margin entire, warty on inside in a narrow marginal band along apical part.
Spurs: cylindric-conoid, obtuse.
Capsule: not seen.
