SUMMARY
Plant: Small, 3 - 8 cm high terrestrial.
Tuber: globose or ovoid, 4 - 7 by 3 - 4 mm.
Stem: 1.4 - 6 cm high, 3-winged, glabrous.
Cataphyll: tubular-infundibuliform, 4.5 -5 mm long, acuminate, glabrous.
Leaves: narrowly cordate-ovate, 13 - 21 by 8-12 mm, subulate-apiculate, base cordate, midrib impressed above, proficient below mainly in basal part, basal nerves on either side of midrib, only the innermost reaching apical part of limb, suprabasal nerves 4 or 5 on either side of midrib, connate to innermost basal nerve, venation sparse, widely reticulate, margin wavy; pellucid lenticels none.
Pedicel: 1 mm long, glabrous.
Bract: lanceolate-linear, 4.5 - 5 mm long, subulate in apical part, narrowed at base, margin wavy, glabrous.
Ovary: 3-sided, slightly obliquely cylindric, 3 mm long, 6-ribbed, glabrous.
Flower: white on outside. wine red on inside.
Median sepal: from an erect, 8-10 mm long, narrowly conoid, boatshaped claw slightly curving into a hooded 7 - 9 by 7 - 9 mm large apical part, mucronate, sparsely dentate near tip only, 3-nerved at base, 3-nerved on hood, glabrous.
Lateral sepals: linear, subulate at tip, 23 mm long.
Lateral petals: linear, subulate at tip, 16 mm long.
Lip: from a funnel- shaped 5 - 8 mm long basal part gradually widening and only slightly curved 4 - 6 mm apical part, limb when spread out 6 by 4 - 6 mm, margin sparsely coarsely fimbriate, 3- nerved at base, 10 - 12-nerved along margin, on inside between throat and margin with a band of hispid papillae
Spurs: conoid, 1 mm long.
Capsule: not seen.
