SUMMARY
Stem: 2 cm long stem
Leaf: single, apical, held close to the surface on orbicular-cordate about 10 mm long, 13 mm broad, dark bluish green with purplish-red veins, edges somewhat undulate.
Bract: 4 mm long, enveloping ovary
Dorsal sepal: hooded, 10 mm long, 3 mm broad, with 7 non-crested veins, white, basically reddish purple running up along the veins
Lateral sepals: dark purple adnate with lateral petals at the very base, about 9 mm
Lateral petals: dark purple, connate at the base, 7 mm long
Labellum: orbicular concave, recurved, 6 mm long, 7 mm broad, apex fimbriate-ciliate, white with pinkish purple base and a dark purple band along the edge, dividing into 3 narrower stripes down the throat
Boss: present at base of labellum limb
Spurs: vertical, white
Column: 1.8 by 0.7 mm.
Type: GT 9892 = O.T. 1793 (C holotype with alc. material and photos by Mr Poonsak Vatcharakorn and Mr Song-Sak Samransook).
Distribution: Endemic to Thailand. Only known from the type locality: Suratthani province, Ban Tham Phueng, close to the Khao Sok Nat. Park, high on vertical limestone cliffs.
Ecology: Tiny lithophytic plants in dense populations with up to about 50 plants of various sizes in crevices high on vertical limestone cliffs.
