SUMMARY
Plant: small, 2.5 cm high terrestrial.
Tuber: not seen.
Stem: 14 mm long, 3-sided.
Cataphyll: tubular, 6 mm long, long-aristate, glabrous.
Leaves: deep green, more or less suffused pale brown towards margin, very finely reticulate glistening white underside pale greenish with lilac reticulation; narrowly ovate, 25 by 14 mm subcaudate, base cordate, midrib somewhat raised on either side, on underside winged mainly in the basal part, basal nerves 2 on either side of midrib, both reaching apical part of limb, suprabasal nerves 6 or 7 on either side of midrib, branched or unbranched, connate to inner basal nerve, margin slightly wavy; pellucid lenticels none.
Pedicel: none.
Bract: linear, 7.5 mm long, caudate-filiform in apical part, glabrous.
Ovary: obliquely ellipsoid, 3 by 0.8 mm, winged, glabrous.
Median sepal: white with red tip, veined red, from a narrow base curving and spathulate-cucullate widened towards apical part, 18 by 4 mm, acute and aristate, awn 2 mm long, 3-nerved at base, many-nerved at tip, margin crenulate-erose in apical part only, glabrous.
Lateral sepals: red, linear, 25 mm long, filiform in apical part.
Lateral petals: crimson with white base, 25 mm long, at base somewhat widened, filiform in apical part.
Lip: white, veined crimson in lower half and with a broad marginal crimson band, a large deep crimson blotch in lower 2/3, from a curved tubular, 15 mm long basal part abruptly curved downward and widening into a suborbicular limb, 12 mm across; margin coarsely dentate mainly in apical part, 3-nerved at base, many-nerved near margin, glabrous.
Spurs: whitish diffused red, narrowly conoid, 3 mm long, obtuse.
Capsule: not seen.
