SUMMARY
Plant: Erect small, slender, 6-9 cm high.
Tuber: Oblong, minutely puberulent.
Stem: Thin, straight or +/- flexuous, terete, glabrous.
Cataphyll: At base small, closely appressed, slightly acuminate, in the middle with a depauperate leaf.
Leaf: Ovate, acute, generally squamiform-depauperate, erect-patent, up to 2.5 mm long and smooth.
Inflorescence: 2-5-flowered.
Bracts: Similar to the leaves, commonly a little shorter than the ovaries.
Ovary: Cylindrical, glabrous, c. 0.4 cm long.
Flowers: Approximately like those of Stigmatodactylus paradoxus (Prain) Schltr., erect or suberect.
Dorsal Sepal: Erect, strap-shaped, acute, concave, smooth, 0.5 cm long.
Lateral Sepals: Sub-erect, linear-subulate, acute, intermediate double short, smooth.
Lateral Petals: Erect, subfalcate-linear, acute, glabrous, thickened outwardly from the middle, about equal to the upper sepal.
Labellum: Subcircular, obtuse, margin sub-irregular, glabrous, at the base with triangular callus, along the midvein until the middle cuspidate-decurrent ornate, 0.5 cm long, in the middle 0.5 cm wide.
Column: Erect, slender, slightly arched, 3.5 mm long, glabrous, above the base a linear strap, porrect, apex briefly excised, ornately fleshy, at base of stigma with subulate appendage, dactyliform, the apex sub-thickened, rostellum short; stigma as in genus.
