SUMMARY
Plant: small, 10 - 45 mm high terrestrial.
Tuber: subglobose, 2.5-5 mm across.
Stem: 5 - 18 mm long, 3-ribbed, glabrous.
Cataphyll: tubular, 3.5 - 5 mm long, subulate-acuminate, 1-nerved, glabrous.
Leaves: green, veined white, cordate, 12 - 18 by 7 - 15 mm, acuminate, base cordate, cuneate at very base, midrib slightly grooved above, prominent below mainly near base, basal nerves 2 on either side of midrib, only inner one reaching upper part of limb, outer one reaching up to 1/4. suprabasal nerves 3 or 4 on either side of midrib, connate to inner basal nerve, branched or unbranched; pellucid lenticels none.
Pedicel: 1 - 1.5 mm long, glabrous.
Bract: linear, boatshaped, 2.5 - 6.7 mm long, filiform-narrowed in apical part, boatshaped at base, glabrous.
Ovary: cylindric, strongly curved, 2.5 - 4 mm long, 6-grooved.
Flower: dark violet-brown and white.
Median sepal: spathulate-obovate, 11 - 15 by 4 - 5 mm, slightly boatshaped, strongly curved, subabruptly long-acuminate, 3-nerved at base, 5-nerved on hood, only the midrib crested along entire length, glabrous.
Lateral sepals: linear-filiform, 20 - 24 mm long, slightly widened at base and boatshaped.
Lateral petals: similar to lateral petals but 32 - 38 mm long.
Lip: from a short, tubular, 4 - 5 mm long part abruptly curved downward and spreading into an orbicular limb, 8 - 11 by 8 - 13 mm large, margin coarsely fimbriate, 3-nerved at base, about 20-nerved near margin; glabrous
Spurs: mammilliform, 1 - 1.5 mm long.
Capsule: red, oblong-ellipsoid, 5 - 6.7 mm long.
