Field notes:
In moss cushions, preferably at foot of shrubs in subalpine scrubbery. Herb c 1 in. stems white. Lvs dark dreen with white veins above, dark purple below and midrib white. Flower, lip white with dark purple spots and stripes on inside, folding around columella. anther light pink. Sepals and lateral petals dark purple. Ovary pink.
